Beginner’s Pilates Course

Pilates Mathwork is a system of 34 exercises of varying difficulty that will strengthen your core, help your posture and increase your flexibility & mobility. Pilates is well know for helping people with ‘bad’ backs – please see the results of 38 studies from the NHS NICE database here.

Our 6 week Pilates Beginner’s course gives you an introduction to the breathing & postural requirements of Pilates, and our Level 3 + orthopaedic conditions qualified instructor will teach you the beginner level mat exercises, and maybe more. We will get standing & engaging your core muscles properly, and working on improving your strength and flexibility. You need comfortable clothing and some water – and a sense of humour!
