Having been into sport (swimming, running & triathlon in particular) all my life, I decided to start turning an interest into a career in 2010. By 2012, having 2 jobs was getting a little difficult to manage, so I set up JTAFit and made my passion my full-time job. As well as teaching, I love learning, so my qualifications, skills and experience have grown hugely over that time.

I love to see transformation, especially when someone doesn’t like fitness and finds something that they enjoy with us. Much of what we do at JTAFit stems from my own lifestyle as a busy working mum with a husband who is away with work regularly, so most of our classes are short and with manageable intensity so you can get in & get out – we are also buggy friendly because I found that having little ones was the biggest bar to people starting a group exercise fitness journey. I also started the Run Club for selfish reasons – I hate running on my own! Now we have 3 regular runs a week, plus a race calendar, including some Obstacle Course Races, swims & triathlons!

Physical Goal: Half Ironman

Teaching Passion: Yoga – I love it so much because it can be so many different things – slow, fast, sweaty, calm, strong, stretchy, mindful….. Everyone needs some yoga in their life!
