Walking for Fitness

A FREE walking group for our community meeting twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, 6.30pm at Carterton Community Centre on Shilton Park with the aim of walking to improve fitness.

It’s a low impact way of getting out, meeting new people and getting fitter. The walk will be for around 45-60 minutes, weather dependent. As we are walking for fitness this isn’t one for ambling and taking photos.

Booking is not necessary for this. Just turn up, introduce yourself to one of the walk leaders and join in. Dogs on leads, children in buggies or on bikes are welcome. During the winter months, you may wish to bring a torch – we have some hi-vis vests, but do wear brighter clothing.
